Hair Cutting: The act of cutting hair during the ceremony symbolises letting go of old energies and making space for positive changes, leaving the individual feeling refreshed, connected, and confident in themselves. It's a transformative experience that goes beyond aesthetics to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. I am a Liverpool girl wih a big dream…
Hi, my name is Samantha Tune. I opened my first hairdressing business in Liverpool when I was 18. After 16 years in the industry, including work at major fashion events worldwide, I relocated to Sydney, Australia, in 2016. There, in 2017, a spiritual awakening profoundly shifted my perspective on hairdressing.
Realizing the deep trust people placed in their hairdressers and the lack of support or training for hairdressers in this counselling role, I saw an opportunity to make a positive impact. I began incorporating Reiki energy, ceremonies, and healing practices into my services.
I used to belive I was ugly
I grew up with numerous limiting beliefs about my appearance and self-perceived abilities, including a diagnosis of dyslexia that made my school years challenging. This journey was further complicated by adversity at home, where my mum experienced mental health issues that were also to her spiritual awakening with little guidance or support.
As I matured, I began to see my differences in a new light. I found hairdressing and creative expression by cutting people's hair while still in secondary school. This passion led to a Saturday job in a hair salon, where I discovered something I excelled at and enjoyed. I swiftly advanced to the role of a stylist, and that was a turning point in my life.
I packed my bags and
had a spiritual rebirth
At 18, I founded my salon, a place where my hairstyling passion thrived, filling my appointment book weeks in advance. Despite the 12-hour workdays, my salon became a haven for heartfelt conversations. After four years, I left for Australia, unlocking new perspectives.
A significant breakup led to a spiritual awakening, deepening my connection to intuition through self-help books like "The Secret." “ The Power of Now” & “ The Universe Has Got My Back” transformed my consciousness and altered how I worked as a hairstylist, enriching conversations with my clients and this is Holistic Hairdressing was birthed.
My family name is TUNE
Interestingly, my name, TUNE, led me to discover the connection between music, hair, and the crown chakra. Sound frequency and music are powerful tools to transcend fear and cultivate love. In this lifetime, I'm dedicated to awakening human consciousness, creating holistic, safe spaces, and sharing the transformative experience of self-awareness and Hair Peace with the world. It's more than just hair; it's about connecting and spreading love through music and Hair Peace.

I recognized that a fundamental aspect of my role was to act as a universal conduit for consciousness, tuning in through various expressive channels and mediums. I harnessed the power of my social media platforms, and I embarked on a mission to disseminate messages and guidance about consciousness, with the aim of transcending the conventional boundaries of social media interaction.
Through these efforts, I began to attract like-minded individuals who resonated with and supported my creative mission. Additionally, my journey led me to be featured on multiple podcasts where I shared my personal story and insights, offering a unique listening experience for those who tuned in.

Subsequently, I spearheaded the creation of thriving well-being communities, organized impactful self-love events, orchestrated transformative retreats, and curated successful online programs. Beyond hairdressing and hair ceremonies, I harnessed my gifts to channel my energy into various avenues.
I firmly subscribe to the belief that making a global impact requires uniting as a harmonious community. For me, staying confined to a single category has never been an option. A favourite adage that deeply resonates with me is, "Variety is the spice of life," and my diverse pursuits have borne significant and fruitful results.
